自2020年6月挂牌成立以来，三亚中央商务区始终以高标准高要求推动园区各项工作高质量发展，构建以总部经济、现代商贸、金融服务、邮轮游艇为主导，专业服务和文化休闲为支撑的“4+2”现代服务业产业体系，全力推进现代服务业创新发展试验区建设。
Since its establishment in June 2020, Sanya CBD has promoted high-quality development of all the work in the park with high standards and high requirements. It is building a “4+2” industrial system of modern service industry, dominated by headquarters economy, modern commerce and trade, financial services, and cruise and yacht, and supported by professional services and cultural leisure. 三亚中央商务区积极围绕“五项便利一项流动”，吸引各类跨国公司及国内企业，打造特色总部集聚区，形成投融资中心、结算中心、运营管理中心、资产管理中心、采购中心、设计研发中心以及销售中心。同时，园区全力打造“两个总部”基地三亚示范区，积极建设中国企业进入东南亚等境外国家和地区的总部基地和东南亚等境外国家和地区企业进入中国市场的总部基地。

琼港经济合作三亚示范区坐落在三亚海棠湾国家海岸休闲园区的中部区域，规划面积约1050亩。三亚示范区重点聚焦海南自由贸易港制度集成创新，深度围绕黄金珠宝、商业金融、零售贸易、专业服务、高端医疗、休闲旅游、文化影视等领域开展产业布局，集聚一批优质港企港商及上下游配套产业链，着力打造“香港城”，实现琼港合作，互利共赢。
The Sanya Demonstration Area of Hainan - Hong Kong Economic Cooperation, with a planning area of about 1,050 mu, is situated in the central area of Sanya Haitang Bay National Coastal Leisure Park. Sanya Demonstration Area focuses on the integration and innovation of Hainan FTP system, develops industrial layout deeply in the fields of gold and jewelry, commercial finance, retail trade, professional services, high-end medical care, leisure tourism, cultural film and television, and gathers a number of high-quality Hong Kong enterprises, Hong Kong businessmen, upstream and downstream supporting industrial chains, striving to build a “Hong Kong City” to achieve the cooperation and mutual benefits between Qiong and Hong Kong.

根据《海南自由贸易港建设总体方案》工作要求，国家发改委、商务部出台了《关于支持海南自由贸易港建设放宽市场准入若干特别措施的意见》，明确提出支持建设海南国际文物艺术品交易中心。在此基础上，三亚中央商务区高标准建设中国海南国际文物艺术品交易中心与三亚文化艺术中心项目，该项目主体位于三亚河口门户区位，西临凤凰岛、南依鹿回头、背靠主城区，是三亚湾的黄金地段，由Zaha·Hadid·limited与上海建筑设计研究院有限公司联合体设计，预计2026年底前开始运营。
According to the requirements of the General Plan for the Construction of Hainan FTP, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce issued the Opinions on Several Special Measures to Support the Construction of Hainan FTP and Relax Restrictions on Market Access, which proposed clearly to support the construction of Hainan International Trading Center of Cultural Relics and Artworks. On this basis, Sanya CBD constructs the project of China Hainan International Trading Center of Cultural Relics & Artworks and Sanya Culture & Art Center with high standards. The main body of this project is in a prime location of the Sanya Bay -- at the gateway of Sanya estuary, with Fenghuang Island to the west, Luhuitou to the south, and the main urban area on the back. It is jointly designed by Zaha·Hadid·limited and Arcplus Institute of Shanghai Architectural Design & Research Co., Ltd., and is expected to start operation by the end of 2026.
