China Launches Trial Visa-Exemption Policy for Nationals of Saudi Arabia and Three Other Countries
5月28日，外交部发言人毛宁主持例行记者会。有记者提问，中方在东盟—中国—海合会峰会期间宣布对沙特等4国试行免签政策，发言人能否进一步介绍相关情况？
On May 28th, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning presided over a regular press conference. A journalist asked whether the spokesperson could provide further details on China's announcement during the China-GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Summit with ASEAN to implement a visa exemption policy for trial purposes for four countries, including Saudi Arabia.
毛宁表示，为了进一步便利中外人员往来，中方决定扩大免签国家范围。自2025年6月9日至2026年6月8日，对沙特、阿曼、科威特、巴林持普通护照人员试行免签政策。上述四国持普通护照人员来华经商、旅游、观光、探亲访友、交流访问、过境不超过30天可以免办签证入境。加上2018年全面互免签证的海合会成员国阿联酋和卡塔尔，中方已经实现对海合会国家免签全覆盖。我们欢迎更多海合会国家的朋友来一次“说走就走”的中国行。
Mao Ning stated that in order to further facilitate the movement of people between China and foreign countries, China has decided to expand the scope of visa exemption. From June 9th, 2025 to June 8th, 2026, a trial visa exemption policy will be implemented for individuals holding ordinary passports from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Nationals of the aforementioned four countries holding ordinary passports can enter China without a visa for purposes such as business, tourism, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits, and transit, provided that the stay does not exceed 30 days. In addition to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, which have had comprehensive mutual visa exemption with China since 2018, China has now achieved full visa exemption coverage for all GCC member states. So, we welcome more friends from GCC countries to take a trip to China soon.

近日，海南省委常委、常务副省长巴特尔在奥克兰会见布朗市长，就深化双边交流合作深入交换意见。其间，双方签署了海南省与奥克兰市结好意向书。驻奥克兰总领事陈世杰陪同代表团参加上述活动。
Recently, Ba Te'er, member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Hainan Province, met in Auckland with Mayor Brown of the city of Auckland. The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on deepening bilateral exchanges and cooperation. During the meeting, the two sides signed a letter of intent on establishing friendly relations between Hainan Province and the city of Auckland. Chen Shijie, Consul General of China in Auckland, accompanied the delegation to participate in the above-mentioned activities.

International Cruise Routes
近日，三亚中央商务区与上海蓝梦国际邮轮股份有限公司正式签署《邮轮航线合作协议》，同时双方也初步达成三年战略合作意向。
Recently, the Sanya Central Business District (CBD) and Shanghai Blue Dream International Cruise Co., Ltd. formally signed a Cruise Route Cooperation Agreement. The two parties also reached a preliminary three-year strategic cooperation framework.
接下来，双方将共同开发三亚国际邮轮航线，“蓝梦之歌”号邮轮将于2025年第四季度至2026年第一季度期间，以三亚为母港和访问港开通运营国际邮轮航线不少于10个航次，覆盖中国香港、东南亚等热门旅游目的地。双方还就未来3年邮轮航线开发、服务优化及产业生态共建达成战略合作意向，标志着三亚邮轮产业国际化进程迈出重要一步。
Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly develop international cruise routes centered in Sanya. The Blue Dream Symphony cruise ship is scheduled to operate no fewer than 10 international voyages from Sanya as its home port and port of call during the period spanning Q4 2025 to Q1 2026. These voyages will cover popular destinations including Hong Kong (China), Southeast Asia, and other key tourist hubs. Additionally, the collaboration will focus on advancing cruise route development, service optimization, and the construction of a sustainable industry ecosystem over the next three years. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the internationalization of Sanya’s cruise industry.
