2月6日，中文双方发表《中华人民共和国和文莱达鲁萨兰国关于深化战略合作伙伴关系、推进中文命运共同体建设的联合声明》。《声明》中提到，文方感谢中方对持普通护照的文莱公民实施停留不超过30天的单方面免签政策。中方欢迎文方决定给予持普通护照的中国公民14天免签入境政策。双方相信，这些免签安排将持续增进两国在旅游、文化、商务、教育、交通、卫生、体育、基建、友城等领域人员往来。文莱欢迎更多中国游客到访，这将有助于增进两国相互了解和人文联系。
According to the joint statement released on Thursday on advancing the strategic cooperative partnership toward a China-Brunei community with a shared future, Brunei expressed appreciation towards China for implementing a visa-free policy for Bruneian citizens holding ordinary passports, allowing stays of up to 30 days, while China welcomed Brunei's decision to grant a 14-day visa-free entry policy for Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports.Both sides expressed confidence that these visa-free arrangements will continue to deepen and facilitate exchanges in tourism, culture, business, education, transportation, health, sports development, and infrastructures, as well as between sister cities of the two countries.

Visa-Free Entry for Tourist Groups from ASEAN Countries to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, Effective as of February 10th
国家移民管理局今天发布公告，即日起，实施东盟国家旅游团入境云南西双版纳免签政策。马来西亚、印度尼西亚、泰国、菲律宾、新加坡、文莱、越南、老挝、缅甸、柬埔寨等10个东盟国家的旅游团（2人及以上），持普通护照经我国境内旅行社组织接待，可由西双版纳嘎洒国际机场口岸、磨憨铁路口岸、磨憨公路口岸免办签证整团入境出境，活动范围为云南省西双版纳州行政区域，停留时间不超过6天。
Today, the National Immigration Administration (NIA) announced a visa-free policy for tourist groups from ASEAN countries visiting Xishuangbanna in Yunnan. Specifically, tourist groups of two or more ordinary passport holders from ten ASEAN countries (including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia) can enter and exit China visa-free through Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport, Mohan Railway Port, and Mohan Highway Port. These groups must be organized by travel agencies in China and may stay for a maximum of six days, with travels limited to the administrative region of Xishuangbanna Prefecture in Yunnan Province.
据国家移民管理局相关负责人介绍，该项政策是有序扩大自主开放、支持云南建设面向南亚东南亚辐射中心的重要举措，对推动西南地区旅游产业发展、促进中外人员交流交往、助力深化中国-东盟全面战略伙伴关系具有积极意义。下一步，国家移民管理局将持续深入推进移民管理领域制度型开放，吸引更多外国人来华旅游、商贸，为入境游市场发展持续注入新动能，服务我国高水平开放高质量发展。
According to an NIA official, this policy marks a significant step towards enhancing autonomous opening-up and supporting Yunnan's development as the Chinese pivot of opening-up to South and Southeast Asia. It is of great importance to advancing the tourism industry in Southwest China, promoting people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries, and deepening the China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership. In the next phase, the NIA will enhance institutional opening-up in immigration management to attract more foreign nationals travelling and doing business in China, continuously infusing new vitality into the inbound tourism market and contributing to China's high-level opening-up and high-quality development.

The 2024 China National Rope Skipping League Finals were recently held in Guangzhou, where the Jump Rope Team of Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Huan Dao Experimental Middle School won the double team championships, respectively, in the "U15-18 Mixed Group Ten-Person Long Rope Synchronized Jump" and the "National Rope King Speed Competition Ten-Person Long Rope Synchronized Jump." This victory not only sets a new record for the best performance in Hainan Province's competition history, but also qualifies the students of this school to represent China in the 2025 Tokyo Asian Jump Rope Championships in Japan.
