2024年5月28日下午，由三亚市农业农村局主办的“滨海乡韵 篮上争锋”2024三亚市和美乡村篮球大赛（村BA）在国药中服免税店广场举行启动仪式暨招商发布会。据悉，三亚“村BA”将于7月在各区和美乡村球场拉开战幕，进行分赛区小组赛和决赛，8月进行市级总决赛。

本次比赛竞赛项目为五人篮球男子组，分为分赛区小组赛和决赛两个阶段，共有来自天涯、吉阳、海棠、崖州区和育才生态区的60余支队伍参加角逐，总决赛计划于8月在天涯区马岭球场进行。此外，组委会还将举办海南“村BA”全明星南北对抗赛（三亚明星队VS海南明星队）,邀请海南全省明星球员组成一支全明星队伍，和三亚本土球员进行一场表演赛，给市民游客带来一场精彩的视听盛宴。

The rules of this competition adopt a five-a-side basketball system, which is divided into two competition stages: the group stage and the finals. There are more than 60 teams from Tianya, Jiyang, Haitang, Yazhou, and Yucai ecological districts participating in the competition. The finals will be held at the Maling Stadium in Tianya District in August. In addition, the organizing committee will also hold the Hainan "Village Basketball Association" All-Star Game (Sanya Star Team vs. Hainan Star Team), invite the star players of Hainan Province to form an all-star team, and hold a performance competition with local players in Sanya.

为增加观赏性，赛事组委会还特别邀请腾讯体育NBA篮球解说员段冉解说开闭幕战，将为球迷们带来专业的解说和分析，为比赛增添更多看点和乐趣，吸引更多观众参与。
